I had a chance to get out with Mark today and do a little bass fishing on Wednesday. Getting around the hook we saw a lot of birds working so we decided to stop and try trolling for a little bit and got on our first fish within minutes. Mark continued to work the 30-34 foot of water off the beach which produced a lot of bites and as the day went on the fish were feeding on the surface along with the blues. After seeing many gannetts and gulls we decided to chase the birds around and jig.The fishing was like early November, we had multiple hook ups and the bass were gouging themselves and pushing the peanut bunker to the top.The tally for the day was 12 bass up to 25lbs and keeping two for the table. Some of the best topwater bass fishing I`ve ever seen.
