Striped Bass Trip

Mark and I got a chance to do some back bay bass fishing after a couple of blowout days. We started fishing about 8:30 am  and within 5 minutes of fishing Mark found the fish in about 25 ft of water that produced a doubleheader. After that we continued to pick fish throughout the day keeping three and releasing 16 bass. The water temperature was 51 degrees and all the fish were caught on stretch 25's.The fish in the morning liked gold colors and the fish in the afternoon were hitting white and red colors. The bass in the morning were caught in 25-28 ft of water and as the sun rose the fish moved to the shallower 19-22 ft of water.
